The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with Mali GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB storage models. This is further expandable via a microSD card. There’s up to 6GB virtual RAM.
The Vivo T3 Lite packs a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP64 ingress protection rating. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging.
The handset features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. There is an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies. The phone measures 163.63 × 75.58 × 8.53mm and weighs 185 grams.
Vivo T3 Lite compared to the Vivo T3: what’s different
Vivo T3 Lite comes as a cheaper alternative to the Vivo T3, which launched in India back in March at a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The handset sees a downgrade in the display department as we only have an HD+ IPS LCD panel over an FHD+ AMOLED screen, which offers punchy blacks and vibrant colours.
While this is consistent with most budget 5G phones around this price range, there are some exceptions like the POCO M6 Pro 5G, which offers an FHD+ resolution and a screen size is also larger at 6.79-inch.
The Vivo T3 came with MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, which is far superior to the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC on the Vivo T3 Lite. The chipset is also quite common on budget 5G offerings like the Realme C65 5G. However, the POCO M6 Pro 5G has the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.
The rear camera setup is similar at 50MP + 2MP dual cameras but the front shooter is downgraded from a 16MP lens to an 8MP shooter on the Vivo T3 Lite. This should result in slightly less sharp selfies. This camera setup is quite common among all phones priced at around Rs 10,000.
Lastly, the 44W fast charging is downgraded to 15W on the new T-series offering. However, the POCO M6 Pro offers a slightly faster 18W charging speed.
