Verdict
The HP 840 G3 (W8H21PA) is a great choice for heavy users, except for the ones who work in the field of graphics. The superb combination of strong processor and RAM maintains excellent performance without any lagging issue. The laptop is also light in weight, easy to carry around and it also has a fingerprint scanner. However, a bit more storage was expected in this budget. Video editors, high-end gamers, visual app developers etc., can check out some other option as this laptop misses out dedicated graphics engine.

Display and Configuration

The HP 840 G3 (W8H21PA) flaunts a 14-inch HD LED backlit display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Running the system is a 2.5GHz Intel core i7 processor from the sixth generation. It is assisted by 8GB of DDR4 RAM which is expandable up to 16GB for better multitasking performance. An integrated Intel HD 520 graphics card results in pretty good visualization while playing games and watching videos. The laptop boots on Windows 10 professional operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture.

Camera, Battery and Input Devices
