Focusing on a wild and unpredictable 1962 Vogue photo shoot in New York, the drama brings to life the story of two young people falling in love, misbehaving and inadvertently defining the style of the Sixties along the way.

Aneurin Barnard would later reprise his role as David Bailey in Legend (2015).

1960s supermodel, Jean Shrimpton, on whose modeling life this telefeature is based, refrained from all creative input with the production. After she'd seen the film, she called to congratulate Karen Gillan on the accuracy of her portrayal.

Sascha Bailey who plays the part of a studio assistant is a son of the real David Bailey.

Karen Gillan and Frances Barber previously appeared together in the 6th series of "Doctor Who".

The TV movie aired on BBC1 50 years after the famous photo shoot in Manhattan.
