  • Story:
Inside a darkened house looms a column of TVs littered with VHS tapes, a pagan shrine to forgotten analog gods. The screens crackle and pop endlessly with monochrome vistas of static white noise permeating the brain and fogging concentration. But you must fight the urge to relax: this is no mere movie night. Those obsolete spools contain more than just magnetic tape. They are imprinted with the very soul of evil.

TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Top billing for the segment Slumber Party Alien Abduction is given to the dog.

Was originally titled "S-VHS."

When Larry and Ayesha break in and Larry first searches Kyle's house, Ayesha pushes play on Kyle's laptop. Three seconds of footage that's shown is "Tape 56/frame narrative" from V/H/S. Therefore, footage of the "Tape 56/frame narrative" is shown in "Tape 49/frame/narrative," placing the first and second films not only in the same universe, but as part of the same plot.

The role of Herman was originally written with James Rolfe in mind, however Rolfe was unable to accept as he was busy working on Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie (2014).

As with the previous film, this was made under the sponsorship of BloodyDisgusting. Many directors of the previous film returned, joined by other, new directors.

Popular Dialogues

"[first lines of "A Ride in the Park"] Biker: [answering headset] Hey, babe! Biker's Girlfriend: Don't "hey babe" me, Mike Sullivan. We're supposed to be having breakfast. Biker: Yeah, but it's a beautiful day; I just want to take the bike out for a spin. Biker's Girlfriend: I wanted you to take *me* for a spin. You know, you ride that bike more than you ride me."
