TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The real estate company is called Murnau Enterprises after F.W. Murnau who directed Nosferatu (1922) which is considered to be the first vampire film.

The symbol for Murnau Enterprises is the image of Vlad III/Vlad the Impaler the real life inspiration for Dracula.

Frank Polidori, who is the Murnau Enterprises frontman, shares the last name of English novelist John William Polidori who penned 'The Vampyre' as part of the contest with Mary Shelley which produced 'Frankenstein'.

In the first 10 minutes of the movie, the character Luis is reading the book "Salem's Lot". This book has a similar story of vampires taking over a town.

The boys watch Blade (1998), and then ask Luis to recap ways to fight vampires. Luis responds with a number of concepts that were not featured in Blade, such as the boiling holy water, or the Eucharist in the mouth.

Popular Dialogues
