The narrator in Traceroute's trailer is actor Jeff Ricketts, one of Johannes Grenzfurthner's long-term collaborators.

Traceroute's first screening in the Bay Area took place at 'Diamond In The Rough Film Festival' at the Bluelight Cinemas in Cupertino, right across the street from Apple and the Flint Center where Steve Jobs debuted the Macintosh.
