TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The film is a feature-length adaptation of a 2010 grindhouse trailer by the same director, which was made as a film school project, and went viral.

After filming and before developing, the film was put in an oven and baked at 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius) for ten minutes to achieve an aged look.

Most of the scratches on the film were achieved by Brendan Steere dragging the unprocessed film along surfaces in his bathroom, the only room in his apartment with no windows and therefore dark enough to not expose the raw film.

The movie cost the creators somewhere between $35,000 - $45,000.

During the flashback war sequence featuring Father Stewart, a quote on the shed behind him reads, "The world is full of Kings and Queens, who blind your eyes and steal your dreams." This quote is from the Black Sabbath song Heaven and Hell.

Popular Dialogues

"Doug Jones: I don't believe you. Dinosaurs never existed, and even if they did, I don't transform into one."

"Father Stewart: So your parents died, Doug. It's what parents do. They die on you."
