TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Denmark's submission to the Foreign Language Film Award of the 91st Oscars.

The genesis of the film was a YouTube clip of a kidnapped woman calling an emergency dispatcher while her kidnapper sat nearby. Director Gustav Möller was struck by how much an audio clip could convey on its own with no visual accompaniment.

According to an interview in Anthem with Jakob Cedergren the filming only took 13 days to complete.

The director, producer, cinematographer and the editor all knew each other and graduated from the National Film School of Denmark.

Asger Holm has the rank Politiassistent af 1. grad (Police Constable with 12 years service).
