According to Michael Caine, Preminger liked to pick out a 'whipping boy" for his bullying on every picture, and on "Hurry Sundown" that was Faye Dunaway.

The critically bashed and financially costly films that Preminger made at the end of his career including "Skidoo," "Such Good Friends," "Rosebud," and "The Human Factor" are ignored on this documentary.

According to the documentary Premonger and composer Raksin initially wanted to use George Fershwin's "Summertime" as "Laura's" theme, but when they couldn't secure the rights Raksin's iconic composition was substituted.
