"Do you need a hand?" from the BBC adaptation was a genuine heckle from an audience member (the other heckles were scripted). However, its cheekiness and Henry Shield's ad-libbed indignation worked so well that they kept it in the final cut.
"[Annie has been electrocuted and the cast and crew have gathered around her on stage] Chris: David, do something to cover. David: What? Chris: You're the professional. Cover! David: [Remove's Chris's "Capt. Hook" mustache, and places it on his own face. Paces across the stage with his hands behind his back. Speaks in his "Poirot" voice] Mesdames et Messieurs, it is not very usual for Poirot to be so near to the catastrophe."
"Mr Smee: Any last words Tiger Lily? Tiger Lily: These words shall not be my last, for Peter Pan shall save me. Mr Smee: This is a terrible show... [cue card is turned over] Mr Smee: ... of cowardice. We thought you'd put up more of a fight. Mr Smee, Tiger Lily: Brave men do not sneak up upon defenseless women. You are cowards.
