Atari game programmer Howard Scott Warshaw, the director and host of Once Upon Atari, would place his initials (HSW) in the games that he made for the 2600. When Once Upon Atari was released he announced that he placed an "HSW" in the documentary. In 2003, a fan discovered that footage from three games, "Home Run Derby", "Space Invaders", and "Warlords" were seen consecutively. The first letter of those three games' titles spelled out the hidden "HSW". The fan was later featured on the documentary's web site.
