TRIVIA

Trivia

This movie is a futuristic remake of Yojimbo (1961).

In the original screenplay, this movie took place at EuroDisney in Paris and the characters were animatronic theme park figures who continued to operate after a global catastrophe.

Before Rutger Hauer was cast in the lead role, Christopher Lambert was considered for it.

Early in this movie Omega Doom (Rutger Hauer) passes by a sign that reads "MUSEE MENIER", which could be a reference to the Menier family of chocolatiers.
