TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

A concert scene from the film was filmed at Hangout Fest in Alabama and features real concert goers.

K.J. Apa and Britt Robertson previously played a couple in the film A Dog's Purpose (2017).

KJ Apa recommended Britt Robertson for the part and contacted her via text message.

During the end credits, the real Jeremy Camp sings with MercyMe on their song "Almost Home." MercyMe's lead singer, Bart Millard, served as an executive producer on this film, and was also the subject of the Erwin Brothers' previous film "I Can Only Imagine" (2018)

This movie was directed by the Erwin Brothers, the same filmmakers who directed I Can Only Imagine (2018). Coincidently, both films are Christian films, and both are biographical films about a popular singer with dying loved-ones.

Popular Dialogues

"Melissa Henning: I've learned that suffering doesn't destroy faith, it refines it."

"Melissa: Stop making promises that aren't yours to make."
