TRIVIA

Trivia

Before playing Donatella Versace in this biopic, Gina Gershon previously played a spoof version of her, named Fabia, in Ugly Betty (2006).

It took a lot of lighting, Scotch tape, make-up, prosthetics, and two wigs for brunette Gina Gershon to transform into Donatella Versace. Gershon lost eleven pounds to achieve that super-skinny Versace look, and had to smoke those incessant cigarettes Donatella loves. Gina watched tons of French video to learn how Donatella moves - hips forward, shoulders in, and neck out. A speech therapist helped Gershon to achieve her accent.

Colm Feore and Gina Gershon appeared in Face/Off (1997) and The Insider (1999).

Samantha Hodhod's debut.
