This movie was based on inmates of Her Majesty's Prison Leyhill, which is located in Cotswold.

Parts were also filmed at Queen Elizabeth's Training College, Leatherhead. The hospital room was really the television room for students.

This was filmed at the world-renowned music school, the Yehudi Menuhin School.

Clive Owen and Helen Mirren also appear in Gosford Park (2001)
