TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The film is based on 20/20 program's segment Drunk Town USA, focusing on Gallup, New Mexico. This is what inspired writer-director Freeland to make the film.

Ernest Tsosie and James Junes (Copenhagen and Leroy) are a well-known comedy team.

The story Harmon tells to Felixia referring to a third gender is a common tradition in many indigenous cultures, often referred to as Two-Spirit.

At the American Indian Film Festival awards, the movie captured half of the top prizes, missing out on the director and leading acting categories for Sydney Freeland, Jeremiah BItsui and Carmen Moore.

The three leads are all part-Navajo, as well as several supporting actors.
