Both Stefanie von Pfetten and Tahmoh Penikett, who played girlfriend and boyfriend here, appeared on Battlestar Galactica (2004) where they both played pilots that held the rank of Captain. von Pfetten only appeared once, while Penikett was a regular with 64 appearances. They never appeared at the same time.
Females in jeopardy: Within the first two minutes, a female is being pursued in the woods. She enters a cabin and then the person having the nightmare (Jen) wakes up. At about 7 minutes in, a female is bound and gagged on the ground behind a vehicle. Jen, a female police detective, tries to rescue her but is attacked by a male. A fight ensues and Jen arrests the male. With about 40 minutes remaining, Jen is knocked out by an unseen assailant. Hayden awakens her and she is uninjured. With about 15 minutes left, Jen is threatened at gunpoint by Jamie Chen. He forces her into the woods and is distracted by Hayden. Jen fights with him and the gun fires, wounding Hayden. Jamie begins to choke Jen and the gun is inconveniently out of her reach. She throws him off of her and grabs the gun, wounding him in the leg. The police appear and arrest Jamie.
