Brinke Stevens plays Linda, a role she originated in The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) 21 years earlier. Stock footage from the original Slumber Party Massacre is implemented into this film to recap her catastrophic occurrence.
The film was followed by a very loose sequel named Cheerleader Massacre 2 in 2009.
