A brief piece of the surveillance footage seen by Gwen and Roger early on in the film is lifted from 'The Matrix' (1999).

This is the only "Cats and Dogs" movie to not have a US theatrical release.

This is the first movie in the Cats and Dogs franchise to not feature any of the original characters.
