An audio podcast group called God Awful Movies (which includes Eli Bosnick, Heath Enwright, and Noah Lugeons) reviewed the film on episode eight of their podcast series.
The film was shot in eighteen days.
Coach Z's speech to the football players in the game room was improvised by Bill Engvall, they had shot that scene about four times, and in one of the takes, Bill Engvall had included the mild "profanity" "hell", but Director John K.D. Graham reminded him that they were making a Christian film, and that he didn't want any profanity in the script, so they had to re-shoot the scene. "Hell" is the name of a place. It remains a mystery to some, how the name of a place became a "profane" term.
The film was edited using Avid Media Composer.
The camera used was a Sony F-55.
"Coach Z: You got caught, Beau, and there are consequences. Now, you can either let those consequences define you or you can let God define you."
"Alexa Taylor: I'm learning that God created me just to be His child and that is enough."
