TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

One of the people watching Harry (Rasmus Hardiker)'s attempt to pick up Jennifer (Natalia Tena) had the username 'I_AM_WALDO'. Waldo was the main character in the previous episode of Black Mirror.

When Joe is flipping through channels on the television, the first program is the talent competition show "Hot Shot" from the episode entitled Black Mirror: Fifteen Million Merits (2011).

The song that Beth (Janet Montgomery) sings at karaoke is the same song that Abi Kahn (Jessica Brown Findlay) sings in the Black Mirror: Fifteen Million Merits (2011) episode. The song is "Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand)", recorded by Irma Thomas in 1964.

The first guess Potter (Rafe Spall) makes about Matt's (Jon Hamm) occupation is a marketing person. This is a reference to Jon Hamm's character in Mad Men (2007), who works at an advertising agency.

When Matt (Jon Hamm) is telling about his wife blocking him, the technology is very similar to the technology being used in the episode Black Mirror: The Entire History of You (2011) from season 1.

"Matt: It wasn't really real, so it wasn't really barbaric. [...] Matt: She's only made of code, she's not real. Fuck her!"
