This film was originally going to be set in Thailand. This was eventually changed to Malaysia instead.
This movie was initially titled "The Magic."
The films's U.S poster by World Northal back in 1979 doesn't include the Chinese crew's but randomly create custom American production crew names and even the actors's names are wrong: Ty Young, Lily Leigh, Lee-Ann while the American production crew names: Antonio St. Martin (Cinematography), Ferrara (music composer), Calvin Martin (wrote and directed).
This film was picked up for distribution in America in 1979.
