Feature film directorial debut of award-winning film editor Chuck Gutierrez.

The script was a birthday present from Arnel Mardoquio to director Chuck Gutierrez , Guttierez edited Mardoquio's film Riddles of My Homecoming (2013) and Alienasyon (2014).

The actors were from Luzon, the equipment came from the Visayas, and the crew were from Mindanao. Director Chuck Gutierrez said the movie allowed a diverse group of filmmakers from all over the Philippines to work on a movie as one.

Inspired by true events that happened during the typhoon Pablo, the strong typhoon that hit Mindanao in 2012 and left 600 people dead in its wake.
