An official adaptation of the Dutch series Penoza. Coincidentally, Actor Alexx O'Nell is a Dutch Citizen who dubbed and later promoted the series from his home in the Netherlands.
The project was first planned as a movie in 2009. Kajol was signed in the lead with Ajay Devgan producing it. Kajol later dropped out and Kareena Kapoor was reading the script. The project got shelved .

He first approached Aishwarya, got no for reply, and suddenly film critic Rajeev Masand in his show interviewed Sushmita Sen in one of the episodes of 'Women we love',Ram saw the show & decided to settle on with Sushmita instead.
