TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Filmed around Buffalo by Attica & Arcade Railroad.

The film was shot at Peles Castle, Stirbei Castle, the Bragadiru Palace and at MediaPro Studios in Bucharest, Romania.

The opening scene contains a clip from Downtown Willoughby, Ohio and this same scene keeps popping up throughout the movie a few times. It was filmed heading North on Erie St., at the intersection with Second St./Glenn Ave. On the left one can see US Bank and in the distance on the left, is the Willoughby Municipal Court. The waterfall scenes are filmed at Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Two of the shots in the credits are from Reading. In England. (one's the high street and the other is the lion statue with its legs on backwards) Not exactly 'tiny obscure European country'.

Prince Duncan's return and proposal to Emma was filmed at the Arcade & Attica Railroad depot in Arcade, NY. When Emma and her sister Alice walk onto the platform, the #18 steam locomotive is rolling up. The locomotive is a 2-8-0 American, acquired by the A&A in 1962. It began use for sightseeing runs the same year.
