(at around 20 mins) Jock, from Lady and the Tramp (1955), again returns in the 101 Dalmatians films. In One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961), he was an ally of the Twilight Bark. Jock appears as an auditioning dog for the "Thunderbolt" show.
Unlike in One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961) which used only British actors to reflect the film's setting in England, many of the characters in the sequel were done by American actors doing British accents, a few exceptions being Samuel West as Pongo and Tim Bentinck as Roger.
Final film of Mary MacLeod, released 13 years prior to her death in 2016.
Perdita's voice actress Kath Soucie, previously voiced Anita, Roly and Cadpig in 101 Dalmatians: The Series (1997). Similarly Jeff Bennett, who previously voiced Roger and Sergeant Tibbs in the series, now voices Jasper in this film.
Jeff Bennett originally auditioned for Pongo and Samuel West originally auditioned for Jasper. Both immediately switched roles after learning that West can do a better British voice for Pongo and that Bennett can do a better Cockney voice for Jasper.
"Patch: Do you think I'm one of a kind... or just... one of a hundred and one? Pongo: [yawns] One of a hundred and one. That's it. One of a hundred and one. [Pongo continues to sleep and Patch sighs]"
"Thunderbolt: [whispers] Lightning. [loudly] Thunderbolt: Do not mourn me when I am gone!"
