Everybody's In L.A. features two indirect connections to the TV show Mad About You (1992). The first connection is that Everybody's In L.A.'s opening theme song is To Live And Die in L.A. by Wang Chung, this was the titular song written for the movie To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) which starred John Pankow, who played the character Ira Buchman on Mad About You for 156 episodes. The second being that Everybody's In L.A.'s announcer Richard Kind played the recurring role of Dr. Mark Devanow on Mad About You for more than 50 episodes.
